i am convinced that with just about everything in life that comes with a hefty price tag there always a cheaper and just as visually pleasing way to get my hands on it.

If you have ever shopped for clothes with me you have totally seen me fall in love with something check the price tag, re- inspect the item in question and proudly declare "I CAN TOTALLY MAKES THIS MYSELF!"

the blog world is the most amazing place to find DIY projects.

now that the decorating side of my life is starting to trump my shopping i have fallin' in love with some amazing DIY home decorating projects.

I must say my spray paint collection is growing rather fast.... i really seem to burn through the sliver and gold cans the most.

my next attempt at DIY GLAM for the home is gonna be this sliver leaf project i found here

I love mirrored anything but its so $$$$$$$$. one day maybe but for now this will have to do.

just got back from buenos aires

it was actually one of the most beautiful amazing belly filling sun soaking relaxing work trips i have ever been one.... regardless of my many complaints i do in fact love my job .

FINALLY saw NINE.

I flip for modern musical motion pictures. (minus hairspray.... not so much)

but it took me forever to see NINE.

I went yesterday afternoon, alone, in order to fully enjoy my movie musical going experience.

I was expecting tears to flow as the orchestra kicked in, but it didnt really happen that way.

( FYI. i started crying within the first 10 min of Moulin Rouge.... and did not stop for a second until the theatre lights went up). In NINE I mmmaybe shed a tear or two ... not to say I didnt enjoy the movie. I did....

Fergie I dont love in everyday life but had the most fun watching in the film. She kicked ass when she sang that "Be Italian" song.... (in fact im gonna put it on right now as im writing this). She was such a fat whore.... LOOOOOVEEE IT.

Penelope was well...penelope.... OOzing sexy mad crazy crying passionate spanish lover type... yah i got it....you're hot and emotional. Fuck Cry or try to kill yourself. Dont get me wrong i love her i just felt like i was watching Vicky, Christina, Barcelona again but with songs.

I think out of all the lovely ladies in the film Marion Cotillard did the best job.

She was the only character that i really cared about in the film.

Such a strong little sweet heart .

ps. Kate Hudson totally looked preggers in the face in the film. It was weird.

i have be tossing this idea for a new tattoo that i want to get around in my head for ohhhh 3 months now.

but there is something stopping me....

a vision so to speak that keeps entering my life while im asleep....

a dream. a horrible dream that i seem to be able to deal with quite calmly until it really hits me what is happening.

i dont have tattoos according to my better half. he refers to them as stickers....

was something of his response when i explained my new body art idea to him....

and yes ill admit there is no detail to my "ink" they're simple outlines. the biggest being perhaps the size of an oreo (mmmhhhhh oreos....) but they are all i got so im gonna milk it for what its worth.... my tattoos are bad ass....

my dream, nightmare infact, has me shaken

i go into the tattoo shop explain what i want and lye down ready for pain.

i should clue in seeing that the same thing happens every time, it takes waaaaayyy longer than it should to complete my "stickers" and when i stand up i am covered in huge, unflattering, coloured (i dont do colour), wrongly placed, some what resembling what i asked for tattoos!!!!!

i get up and i stand there... staring into the mirror shocked.

not wanting to hurt the artist's (if thats what you call that pathetic excuse of a person who has just ruined my life) feelings i try to make the best of it.

I fool myself for a bit until i make reverse eye contact in the mirror with whoever i had dragged along to keep me company during my estimated 7 minutes of pain. those eyes cant not tell a lie. this is bad

The love of my life scored like one million boyfriend points this holiday season.

As reported earlier I wanted a certain pair of gorgeous studded red soled booties for christmas, then I was informed that they were not attainable and alas I had to pick something else to unwrap then immediately attach to my body on xmas morning.

(which i did)

I have to admit I was a tad bit disappointed when come that joyous day I was informed that my present hadn't arrived yet. Although he did have little side gifts for me which I am currently enjoying (the best tasting olive oil that I have poured on top of almost everything I have eaten since christmas, and the gourmet jelly beans in the background of photo) BUT now knowing what was heading my way in the mail I would have gladly waited another full month if not more to have them!

I must say I have never felt so sexy or walked so proud in any other pair of shoes I have owned.

Shoes are like drugs for me, this is where I get my fix..... Only problem is now that I have felt the shiny red soles under my feet I have already pick out 4 more pairs!!!!!!!!!!

I got my little angel Hannah there, and i can honestly say she brings so much joy into my life with whether its the kitty style opera i hear at 4 am, the endless chasing of absolutely nothing/occasionally a mouse, her slutty bum parades or her super snug fests she fills up heart up to the very tip top.

i have tried on almost every faux fur coat i have spied in the last month.

and although i want one really bad i cant help feeling a little clownish when i put them on.

I think it might be a bit of a faze so i am not really willing to spend a lot of cheds on it, i also think that might be the problem....in order to pull this off i think you might need actually need to spend a bit of money on one...

So I know its not Christmas yet but I already picked out almost all my gifts for me from other people.

I like to tell my loved ones what to get me. I generally will give each person about two to three gifts to pick from but there are pretty strict guide lines that I liked to be followed.

And usually I like to receive gifts that are practical. Kitchen stuff, towels, metro passes (after getting one for my bday for the 3rd year in a row my mom begged me to ask for a real present)

The only person I like to receive fun useless fancy gifts from is my bf.

Last year I got a fabulous Tiffany's Dog Tag. ( I may or may not have dropped very obvious hints about it for 4 months before Dec. 25 )

This year I just straight up told him what I wanted.

Where I proceeded to walk straight out of driving school and straight into Macdonalds.

My treat to myself for sitting still and not talking for two hours.

I cant stop thinking about them. I actually held them in my hand last week and uughhh it felt like....ugh I cant even begin to explain how perfectly we fit together.

I dont care if I live in a city that would only allow me to wear them two months out of the whole year. I dont! I really dont!!! I just want them.

Now I want a lot of stuff and normally I get antsy and upset that I cant have certain a item for about 4 days and then I get over it.

These shoes I have not been able to get over. Maybe just Maaaaaaybe I will own them soon.

Or get them on sale at the end of the season....

Had to do a photo shoot today, Joan Jett I was told was to be my inspiration.

Got to rock out and be bad ass all day while getting my pic taken....

All in all it was a pretty stellar day on the job.

Thought the make up artist, Sabrina , did a fuckin awesome job....

So I went to my besty Kate's tage over the long weekend...

It was a lovely weekend full of booze, dancing, uncalled for boob comments, pancakes, ladder golf, red meat, apples to apples and oh yah THIS ......

Ok so thats not actually me in the picture, but I was pretty much busting out the same moves on a sea doo. It was so much fun. I got that little bitch ass up to 60 Miles and hour. It was a mix of like "Fuck Im gonna die!!! shiiiiiiiitt!"

I have a pretty sweet job and by far one of the best perks is that I get a ton of free clothes. The kinda shitty part is that well most of it I really would never wear. Take this roxy jean skirt below. UUUgggghhhhhh super dorky but what I love about it is that it does have a bit of stretch to it but not enough for it to suck around my little big but. I hate when jean skirts do that. Totally reminds me of me in grade 10 when Urban Behavior was rocking my fashion boat. (ill try to find a pic of me from that time to put up here. It will be a good laugh)

Then I thought about the fact that the buttons were really the problem.

So after spending about 45 minutes in a Button Store (one of my new fav places)

I decided on Sliver rusted mexican style ones.

I have a terrible history with bikes.

As a child I pretty much always had bruises and cuts on my rib cage from flying into and then over the handle bars of my bike due to whatever I had just smashed into.

(normally a parked car)

Im not gonna lie biking downtown Toronto terrifies me. Its way different than the uptown yuppie-ville I grew up in.

Tho one slight irritation has come out of my brand new beauty....

its buying a lock that cost $30 bucks more than the bike. WTF
